An ancient story. A brand-new lens.
We all know the tale of Jonah, but beneath the surface lies a web of surprising commentary that speaks directly to our everyday lives. Join us and visiting Rabbi Simcha Bob for an energetic, engaging study session as we blend rabbinic literature, history, and popular culture to uncover these hidden lessons.
Following our study, we will gather for a meaningful Selichot service to formally open the Days of Awe, sharing in soulful prayers and the sacred tradition of changing our Torah scrolls into their white mantles.
All are welcome to join us in-person for services! If you prefer to attend online, refer to Emanu-Email for the Zoom information, or watch our livestream on our website, YouTube or Facebook. If you cannot access Emanu-Email or our Zoom information, please click here to contact us.
