Fund for a Secure Future: Supports the daily activities and operations that keep our spiritual home running.
Building & Maintenance: Contributions to our Maintenance, Foundation, or Endowment funds ensure our facility remains a beautiful and safe space for generations.
Lillian Friedman Archives: Helps preserve the documents and stories that make up our congregation’s rich history.
Rabbi Joseph L. Baron Museum: Supports our collection and brings in special speakers for Shabbat programs.
Education & Scholarship: Provides grants for children to attend Reform Jewish educational programs and summer camps.
Scholar-in-Residence: Invites renowned Jewish thinkers to teach and inspire our community.
Library Funds: Support the Rabbi Dudley Weinberg Library or the Bernice Gratch Children’s Library to keep our collection current and engaging.
Bible & Prayer Books: Help us purchase and repair sacred texts, or sponsor a bookplate ($36) in honor of a loved one.
Cantor Sol Altschuller Music Fund: Enhances our services with special musical and cantorial programming.
Torahpalooza: Underwrites our high-energy, all-music worship celebration.
Oneg & Holiday Hospitality: Support the Kohner Oneg Fund or Emil & Mary Hersh Special Activities to provide refreshments and cultural celebrations.
Elaine Callif Mitzvah Meal Fund: Supports the preparation and delivery of meals to congregants in times of need.
Food Bank & Tzedakah: Directly funds our hunger relief efforts and monthly charitable donations designated by the Social Action Committee.
Interfaith & Senior Services: Promotes interfaith religious activities and provides transportation for our senior members.
College Outreach: Keeps our students connected to their Jewish roots while away at school.
Camperships: Provides scholarships for children to attend OSRUI, JCC, or other Reform Jewish summer camps.
Youth Programming: Supports special activities designed to engage the next generation.
Gifts to these funds allow our Rabbis and Cantor to support individuals in need, enhance worship, and fund innovative projects that fall outside the general budget.
